Built for competition revolver shooters running the Smith & Wesson 627 or 327 8-shot revolvers. This is our standard .38/.357 clip cut to Federal brass dimensions, which gives the widest brand fit of any clip we make. If you shoot Federal, mix brands, or aren’t sure which brass you’ll be running, this is the clip we recommend.

Fitment

Fits all factory machined Smith & Wesson 627 and 327 8-shot .38/.357 revolvers. Moonclips only work in cylinders that have been machined to accept them. Not all factory cylinders are. Verify before ordering or contact us to confirm. If your cylinder isn’t machined for clips, we offer the Moon Clip Machining service. Ammunition extractor groove dimensions vary between brands and between production runs of the same brand. We can’t guarantee any clip fits any specific lot of ammo. If you reload a specific brand consistently, look at our brass-specific cuts (Starline, Hornady).
